MARGARET HEFFERNAN; Embracing Uncertainty
Sun 16th Nov 2025 10.30am Clifton High School, Rose Theatre

Margaret Heffernan disagrees. She argues that in uncertain times, imagination isn’t a luxury - it’s essential. Not knowing the future demands creativity, resilience, adaptability, and collaboration. Far from making these human qualities obsolete,
AI makes them more valuable than ever.
This talk is a rallying cry for the skills that keep us human - and why we’ll need them to navigate what comes next.
