Inspired by modern poets such as Marie Howe, Maya C. Popa, David Scott, as well as Rumi and other mystics, we will draft poems which try to find a ‘yes’ to spiritual life, while not denying our current political and social realities.
Rosie has been running popular writing workshops for over thirty years. She has taught at universities, in community settings, and her spiritual life has taken her to India and to Sufi training in California. An award-winning poet, widely published, her collection Love Leans Over the Table was published in 2023. Jane Hirshfield describes her work as ‘gorgeously original’, while Bel Mooney calls her ‘a rare poet of transcendence.
